Stretto di Messina has today signed a memorandum of understanding with the labour unions, which sets out the employment contract for the Company’s employees. The agreement, which was reached after extensive discussions, takes into account the specific nature of Stretto di Messina, while respecting the industry contract originally adopted. “The new contract,” explained CEO, Pietro Ciucci, “is already a key organisational element in this start-up phase of the Strait of Messina Bridge project. It sends an important signal that confirms the Company’s focus on defending the rights of workers engaged in the construction of this exciting new infrastructure.”
