On 18 and 19 March, Stretto di Messina presented the final design for the bridge and the road and rail links to the Messina and Villa San Giovanni Bridge Commissions.

During the hearing, organisational, procedural and technical aspects were explained in speeches made by the CEO, Pietro Ciucci;  the Technical Director, Valerio Mele, engineer; Gioacchino Lucangeli, engineer (road links); Giorgio Micolitti, engineer (rail links); Achille Devitofranceschi, engineer (bridge infrastructure); and Ilaria Coppa, engineer (the environment).

This was a general presentation, made ahead of a series of more detailed hearings on the various issues related to the project, its implementation and its management.
