The approval of the Report, prepared by the General Contractor Eutrolink, is the result of a complex assessment process carried out by Stretto di Messina. In addition to the Company’s Technical Department, the process involved Parsons Transportation Group as the Project Management Consultant and an Expert Panel serving as the Supporting Body for the technical-specialist activities of High-level Surveillance. This panel consisted of four senior representatives in the fields of aerodynamics-aeroelastics, seismic, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines. The Company also obtained a favorable opinion, along with recommendations, on the Report from the Scientific Committee. The Scientific Committee is an autonomous and independent body established by Law 1158/1971, consisting of nine experts appointed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport in agreement with Calabria and Sicily Regional Authorities.
