The amount will be defined by the CIPESS with the approval of the Financial Plan. The estimated investment in the construction of the Strait of Messina Bridge, along with 40 km of road and rail links, three new railway stations and the Operational Headquarters in Calabria, is currently €13.5 billion. Funding will be provided by the state, with Stretto di Messina contributing €370 million in capital.
