In Strade e Autostrade<\/em> magazine, Stretto di Messina engineers explain the monitoring system developed for the Bridge project, which is aimed at minimising risks, ensuring regulatory compliance and identifying any critical issues.<\/p>

An integrated, multi-disciplinary approach is essential to addressing the technical, management and environmental challenges of such a complex project, thereby ensuring that the infrastructure is safe, efficient and sustainable in the long term. In order to ensure appropriate management of complex issues, which is vital for coordinating the many actors involved and guaranteeing the coherence of information and the optimisation of all phases of operations, Stretto di Messina SpA has developed a sophisticated BIM-based information management system. This is essentially a collaborative digital environment in which all the information produced will be shared and undergo a process of monitoring, validation and archiving, after a comprehensive approval procedure involving the General Contractor, the Project Management Consultant and Stretto di Messina.<\/p>
