The system covers a total of approximately 100 km\u00b2 of land area and approximately 1,600 km\u00b2 of sea area, and is useful in distinguishing between the impact of the project and unrelated changes in the surrounding environment.<br \/>The organisational structure for monitoring also provides for the Operator\u2019s involvement in the form of general oversight, coordination with government entities and public relations. A Project Management Consultant (PMC) has also been appointed to provide the Operator with technical support and oversee the activities.<br \/>This organisational arrangement is designed to ensure the effective conduct of environmental monitoring in terms of control, audit, data traceability and support for decision-making.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div
